国庆假期，我踏上了前往皖南古村落的旅途，青石板路蜿蜒着时光，白墙黛瓦在秋阳下泛着温润的光，推开老木窗，远山如黛，云雾缭绕，清晨跟着阿婆学做米糕，柴火香气混着糯米甜香漫满小院；午后坐在溪边的老樟树下，看孩童追逐着飘落的桂花，听老人讲古村的旧事，傍晚时分，家家户户升起炊烟，红灯笼次第亮起，映着晚霞格外温暖，这次旅行没有匆忙的打卡，却让我在慢时光里触摸到了最真实的烟火气，每一帧都成了这个国庆最珍贵的底色。

The National Day holiday, a cherished time for relaxation and exploration, always fills me with excitement. This year, I embarked on a memorable trip to Hangzhou, a city renowned for its picturesque West Lake and rich cultural heritage, making it the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life.

From the moment I arrived, Hangzhou’s charm captivated me. On the first day, I headed straight to West Lake, a UNESCO World Heritage site. The lake was serene, with gentle ripples shimmering under the autumn sun. I rented a boat and glided across the water, passing the iconic Broken Bridge and Su Causeway. Lush willow trees lined the banks, and lotus flowers, though past their peak, added a touch of elegance to the scenery. As I floated, I couldn’t help but hum old Chinese folk songs, feeling completely at peace with nature.

The next day, I explored Lingyin Temple, a historic Buddhist temple nestled at the foot of Feilai Peak. The temple’s ancient architecture, with its red walls and golden roofs, stood in stark contrast to the modern city nearby. I lit incense, prayed for good fortune, and marveled at the intricate carvings on the stone statues of Buddha. No trip to Hangzhou would be complete without tasting its famous local cuisine. I visited a small restaurant near West Lake and ordered West Lake Fish in Vinegar Gravy and Longjing Shrimp. The fish was tender and flavorful, with a perfect balance of sweet and sour, while the shrimp, infused with the aroma of Longjing tea, was a delightful surprise. As I savored each bite, I realized that food is not just about taste—it’s a story of culture and tradition.

Though the holiday was short, the memories I made in Hangzhou will last a lifetime. From the stunning landscapes of West Lake to the spiritual tranquility of Lingyin Temple, and the delicious flavors of local dishes, this trip taught me the beauty of slowing down and appreciating the world around us.
